WHY THE PHILIPPINES IS A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN FREEDIVING
The Philippines has warm, clear water year-round and some of the most accessible freediving in Asia. Mabini Freediving Club makes it easy to start: train in convenient city pools in Metro Manila, then dive into the open water of Mabini (Anilao), Batangas — a short trip from the capital and one of the country's top freediving destinations. From your very first breath-hold to full Molchanovs or AIDA certification, you'll learn in small groups with a focus on safety, technique, and confidence.
WHY LEARN WITH MABINI FREEDIVING CLUB

Nervous in the water? Basic water comfort skills are introduced in the first session, so anyone can start.
Both Molchanovs & AIDA
We teach both leading freediving systems, so your certification path fits your goals — not just whichever agency we happen to offer.

How much does a freediving course cost in the Philippines?

Which certification should I get — Molchanovs or AIDA?
We teach both. For most beginners the choice comes down to teaching style and goals rather than which is "better." See our AIDA vs Molchanovs guide for a full comparison.
Can beginners and non-swimmers join?
Yes. Our intro sessions are designed for beginners and first-timers, and non-swimmers are welcome — basic water comfort skills are introduced in the first session.
What makes Mabini Freediving Club different?
Small groups for closer coaching, a beginner- and non-swimmer-friendly approach, both Molchanovs and AIDA pathways, and high-quality underwater photo and video coverage included with sessions.
Every course here is taught personally by a certified instructor (Molchanovs and AIDA), in groups capped at three students — and often one-on-one. That means more coaching per dive and closer safety supervision than a typical large class. Not sure which agency or level fits you? Compare AIDA and Molchanovs or message us and we'll point you the right way.
